New interview series: The Torch of Progress

The Progress Studies for Young Scholars speaker series, dubbed “The Torch of Progress”, begins Wednesday at 10am Pacific.

Episode 1 features Dr. Matt Bateman, VP of Pedagogy at Higher Ground Education, on education pioneer Maria Montessori and how she saw the story of human progress in relation to education.

I’ve known Matt for years, and there are few people out there who are more thoughtful, or more knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the life and philosophy of Maria Montessori. I expect to learn a lot from this interview.
