I’m a former video game developer (15 years), and now I work in the field of housing economics, property tax policy, and empowering the civil service through open source software and transparent data reporting. The bottom line is that land is a big deal, housing could be much cheaper, and putting stuff on a map is often the most effective way to make an argument.
