Innovating science governance

I previously worked on AI and science policy in the Senate and for the White House and Federal Agencies. I followed my curiosity about how we advance & govern risky technologies to China and then to the finance team of a quantum computing company. I’m now exploring the question: if AI is accelerating R&D, how do we adapt science and technology governance to keep pace? That may mean innovating on private governance, building federal capacity, and testing governance regimes at the state level.
