Abundance without wreckage

Energy abundance and climate underpins a lot of civilizational capabilities and the quality of life and yet they currently appear to be in conflict. This fascinated me for over a decade and got me deep into market incentives, societal structure and the policies that shape both. I’ve been exploring where science and engineering progress comes from in the field, how they get funded and the successes and pitfalls of different funding mechanisms and their specific organizations. I’ve worked at big tech companies, a research lab, started a startup and sit on the boards of for and non profits.
