Neuroscience 🤝 AI

I work on NeuroAI, bringing neuroscience insights to AI and using AI to accelerate neuroscience. When I was doing a bachelor’s in math and physics, I picked up a little book called Eye, Brain and Vision from David Hubel; it set me on a windy path to figure out how the brain makes sense of the world. I completed a PhD in neuroscience at McGill, worked in industry on data science, brain-computer interfaces, and foundation models for neuroscience, and am now funding frontier research at the Amaranth Foundation.

I’m an avid social dancer, including lindy hop, rockabilly jive, blues, and salsa. I dabble in photography.
