Transforming American education

I’ve always been interested in history and political institutions, originally wanting to pursue a career in academic philosophy researching democratic theory, political philosophy, and legal theory. Law school seemed more immediately feasible, though, and so it’s been extra exciting to find a path into the think tank and policy world — working on education policy — that allows me to make the most out of my philosophical and legal roots.

Likes talking with friends and seeing concerts

Thomas Briggs graduated from UCLA’s School of Law and is Director of Operations at Education Progress. Before law school he studied philosophy, international politics and democratic theory. Recently moved to San Francisco.
