Kayla Harris

Kayla produces events that bring together people excited about building an impossibly cool next century. She joined RPI from the Abundance Institute, where she managed Creative Frontiers, a program convening artists to explore how new tools are reshaping creativity, and the norms around it. She began her career at Ballotpedia, helping voters access nonpartisan information about their elections, driven by a conviction that education and clear information are the foundation of a flourishing society.

Outside of work, Kayla builds community in Salt Lake City, where she advocates for abundant, affordable housing and fosters connection through biking. She’s drawn to events for the same reason she’s drawn to progress: both are at their best when everyone has a seat at the table—especially the people who will inherit what gets decided there.
